This paper mainly discusses the application method of automatic leveling device of asphalt paver.

Three: automatic leveling device benchmark and correct use

The vertical reference of the automatic leveling device adopts three different forms according to different conditions.

(1) steel wire reference: This is an absolute reference used by the longitudinal controller. At the end of all paved roads, a line of steel parallel to the design elevation of the road shall be laid at about 200~600mm from the end of the screed. The height shall be 100~300mm from the paved road, and the diameter of the steel wire shall be 2~2.5mm. This benchmark is most accurate, but time-consuming, must be laid before construction. The utility model is suitable for paving at the lower level.

(2) large slipper (or balance beam): This is the relative reference used by a vertical controller. It is driven by a paver. When the roadbed is not normal, many casters of the large slipper will move up and down, because the handle of the controller is in the middle of the large slipper, so the movement of the rod on the base is greatly reduced. Its accuracy is inferior to that of a steel wire, and it is a convenient method. The utility model is suitable for the spreading of the upper base layer or the surface layer.

(3) small slipper: the controller itself is equipped with a small slipper, which is used instead of the pole and is connected with the longitudinal controller's sensing arm. The small slipper follows the paver on the paved road and follows the paved road condition to achieve the same roughness as the paved road. Two the benchmark for two stalls in the spreading shop. In the cold joint construction, the small slipper should be placed at the exit edge 30~40mm; in the hot joint construction, the small slipper can be placed on the edge of the non rolling road. Four: vertical and horizontal controller reasonable configuration

Automatic leveling system according to the characteristics of supporting models and the use of conditions, you can use a vertical, horizontal, controller configuration. The vertical, horizontal and configuration modes have the following characteristics:

(1) easy to use. Just set a baseline for the vertical controller.

(2) applicability is strong. Whether single or whole, paving can be adopted.

(3) it is easy to realize variable slope paving. When the curve is difficult to be laid, the horizontal slope is constantly changing, and the horizontal controller can be used to set and change the horizontal slope conveniently.

  However, this kind of configuration is not suitable for the larger width of paving, and the width of the ironing plate is large, the rigidity is decreased, and the deformation is easy to distort. The width of the two ironing plates affects the selection of the sensitivity of the lateral controller. The same sensitivity, the wider the controlled thickness, the greater the regulation area. In the two case, the lateral controller is used to control the thickness of the side, and the adjustment is inaccurate. Usually paving width below 5m, a number of paving, road level is lower, with a vertical one horizontal is appropriate. The paving width is above 5m, the whole paving is of higher level, and the two longitudinal direction is suitable.
