Antiwear property
For heavy load or long term use of the machine does not replace the oil, the use of excellent anti-wear oil, otherwise, under heavy load conditions will lose pressure, or use less than a predetermined period, due to the failure of additives and failed to achieve effect. For some precision vane pump must use anti-wear very excellent oil, otherwise it will speed up the pump life, make the pump more wear.
Proper viscosity
Too high viscosity will result in too slow reaction, excessive oil sludge phenomenon, too low viscosity will cause pressure can not reach the phenomenon.
Proper viscosity index
If the viscosity index oil is selected according to the application environment, the high viscosity index oil must be used if the flow operation or the temperature difference between day and night is large.
Such as the temperature difference is not large in Guangdong, this is not a special requirement. But if the environment is high temperature, you must use a high viscosity index of hydraulic oil. Because hydraulic oil becomes thinner at high temperatures, thickening at low temperatures has an effect on the pressure generated by the hydraulic system.
Oxidation stability and sludge resistance
If the operating temperature is greater than 70 degrees, it will speed up the aging rate of the oil. When the environment is high temperature, such as die casting, ceramic making and steel making, the high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance of the oil should be emphasized. If the oil oxidation will form oily sludge, resulting in mechanical failure.
For use in ordinary temperature environment, the oil with poor oxidation resistance can not be used for half a year, moderate wear resistance for about one year, extreme pressure and anti-wear for about two years.
Special environmental requirements
In some high temperature environment, the requirement of oil can be fireproof, such as die casting, steel-making industry, it is best to use fire-resistant hydraulic oil, although the unit price is expensive, but the service life is several times, more cost-effective.

Foam resistance is particularly important for large hydraulic systems, which can lead to pressure instability.
