Cummins is the leader of low carbon power technology, with the strongest service support in China, and is the world's largest independent engine manufacturer. The meeting was attended by the vice president of the company, Dr. Huaqiang and Dr. Peng Lixin, and introduced the development process of diesel engine technology and Cummins engine technical characteristics and advantages.
The development of diesel engine is based on the reduction of CO2 greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, it is imperative to improve fuel economy.
Cummins showed a series of engines ranging from 2.8 liters to 60 liters at the BMW show. Two new products including QSF 3.8 and QS BJ. QSF 2.8 engine is developed for forklift research and development. At present, most of the engines used in this field are mechanical pumps, while Cummins develops electronically controlled pumps, which is the inevitable way for the development of modern engine technology. Compared with mechanical forklift, electric forklift has the following characteristics: 1, low noise 2~3 db; 2, no smoke, pollute the air; 3, use more safe, more comprehensive function. The QSF 3.8 engine is mainly suited for 11~18 ton excavators and 4~10 ton forklifts. The main object of development of QS BJ is 20~30 tons of excavators. The series of products after hundreds of thousands of tests, in the market to collect a variety of data after the application of the production, the product of the hydraulic system is in response to customer requirements, to create proprietary technology, has been a good response. Using this product, the fuel consumption will be reduced by about 10%.
Cummins engine products meet the requirements of China national standards for emission levels at different stages, and meet the requirements of the third and higher non - road emission standards (Tier3) in Europe and North america. After the meeting, participants have a deep understanding of Cummins's new engine, and believe that in the future engine market, Cummins non road engine can be the pioneer of similar products, creating a green future of the industry.
