Engineering machinery of AC and DC stores charging system fault diagnosis methods are as follows:
(1) when the generator charging current is too small or unstable: disconnect the wires of the power regulator, with "+" and "F" pole generator terminal directly connected to start generator, if the charging current is too small or not stable, is to repair the generator; if the generator charging amount increased with the throttle increases, will respond to the regulator for maintenance.
(2) when the charging current is too large, the charging current is too large, mostly due to the fault of the regulator, so we should focus on the regulator.
(3) when the charging system does not charge: first, check the connection line between the generator "A" point to the battery "+" pole by using the ohmmeter or test lamp of the multimeter. Is the contact between the breaker and the plug in bad?. If the test light is on, it means that the charging line is good; if the test lamp does not turn on, the generator should be checked for power generation.
The generator "F" end wiring is removed, and another wire is used to connect the power "+" pole with "F" terminal, if the charging indicates that the regulator is faulty; if not charged, it indicates that the generator is out of order.
Check the generator, remove all wiring on the generator, test block with a multimeter RX1. If the "F" and "-" the extreme resistance on 5~6 omega (12V series generator (24V) is the resistance between the generator should be 19~21 Ohm), show that the excitation winding is good; if the "F" side and "-" extreme resistance between the pointer does not move, it shows that the generator excitation winding circuit or brush connecting line broken, or the carbon brush and the rectifying ring contact; if the measured resistance is zero, is the brush across the ring or the carbon brushes and the rectifying ring contact; if the measured resistance is zero, it is carbon brush across the ring or a carbon brush frame ground. Similarly, with the RX1 gear test generator "+" and "-" the resistance between extremes, if the resistance in 40~55 ohm, indicates that the rectifier is normal; if the 10 ohm, said a diode breakdown circuit; if the 10 ohm, said a diode is short circuit breakdown; if zero is the end cover plate has short circuit and rectifier diode.
