Factors influencing the smoothness of pavement and measures (four)       

5. Mixture segregation

Reasons: mixture gradation is improper, mixture segregation phenomenon may appear during transportation, unloading and paving process.

Measures:

(1) if the gradation of the mixture itself is the reason, the material selection, screening and inspection should be strengthened, and the equipment with reliable performance should be selected.

(2) change the mode of transportation and transport type, reduce the mixture segregation caused by transportation and unloading process.

(3) paver spiral conveyor system speed should be stable; the spiral conveying system of central drive, near the central part of the installation of reverse driving blade; by reducing transportation and improve the spiral blade arrangement; spiral blade diameter increase; the spiral ultrasonic material level controller.

6. Automatic leveling control system maladjustment

Reasons: slow response or error; affected by datum error; quality reason or improper operation of paver.

Measures:

(1) choose a good quality and reliable electro-hydraulic leveling control system; or choose ultrasonic (6 probe above) leveling control system.

(2) revise datum error and make the datum as accurate as possible; for the electro hydraulic leveling control system, the sensor position should be consistent with the response speed of paver leveling control system.

(3) the datum line should be apart from the edge baffle 30~50cm; the working point of the longitudinal wave sensor is placed at the center of the spiral separator; the elevation and sag of the wire rope are adjusted; and the setting program of the zero position of the shear wave sensor is modified and corrected.

(4) the quality of the vibration damping element of the paver is reliable, so as to reduce the influence of the vibration of the working device on the leveling system.

(5) correct operation and use of leveling control system.
