Introduction of general paving structure       

In the technical and economic reasons, asphalt paving layer is composed of different levels: asphalt base, bonding layer and wear layer. Each layer has its special function, and according to their respective paving thickness and location, perform their own duties to achieve the overall bearing capacity of the paving layer. The compact degree of adhesive is a vital factor in paving layer durability and long life.

The function of asphalt base

The main function of asphalt base is to ensure timely and effective to ensure the waterproof effect of subbase, and to maintain the bearing capacity of subbase.

The base of the other paving layer (adhesive layer and wear layer) provide a flat stable paving foundation.

In the whole working life, the asphalt base is closely bonded with the adhesive layer and the wear layer, absorbs and transmits the impact force from the traffic vehicle, and makes the impact force uniformly acting on the subbase.

Asphalt wearing course

The surface wear layer is located in the road, the most dense paving layer. Wear layer is directly affected by the traffic, weather and with antifreezing function.
