The launching of the "Pearl machine No. six" shield machine, 8.8 meters in diameter, the construction scope of Hengqin Free Trade Zone Hengqin station to No. 4 working well, double hole single line, length of 1551.78 meters.

In order to successfully complete the shield launching node target, the Pearl River intercity project department strictly manages the technical scheme, monitoring and measurement, and at the same time increases the safety quality investigation, and strictly controls the construction risk, which provides the conditions for the smooth launching of "Pearl machine No. six". At present, the Zhuhai Zhuhai intercity line shield has been successfully tunneling for nearly 200 meters.

It is understood that the Zhuhai intercity rail transit project is the key machine of intercity railway project investment in Guangdong Province, Zhuhai city of Gongbei from the starting point to the Zhuhai airport after the completion of the opening, connect with the Guangzhou Foshan Pearl River, Macao station and docking in Hengqin, will Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Foshan and Macao Intercity Railway together, to ease the traffic pressure in the city of Zhuhai and expand the space of city development, it is important to accelerate the construction of the Pearl River Delta Intercity network.
