Transcend the success of the 4000 meter sea trial - the unmanned submersible ushered in the heyday
The progress of the times and the continuous innovation and development of science and technology have made the mysterious sea no longer daunting.
In September 2015, the 2 deep sea equipment developed by our R & D team of the 10000 meter manned deep hole device was installed on the 10000 meter land lander and the rainbow fish unmanned submersible. In addition to the underwater cameras, some cables and underwater lights, the rainbow fish has achieved 100% localization and the localization rate of the submersible noumenon system has reached 95%.
And recently, developed by the research center of the Shanghai Ocean University. China's first unmanned submersible level meters "Rainbow Fish" and the lander, equipped with 1 ships in the sea trial as mother ship lease on a cargo ship, successfully carried out 4000 meters of sea trial in the South China Sea, which marks the Chinese quest "meters deep" taken a substantial step.
In the past one month's sea trial, the rainbow fish has been tested for 2 times, the maximum depth is 2100 meters, and the lander has been tested for 4 times, of which 2 times are 4000 meters, and the maximum depth is 4328 meters. According to the previous plan, the Shanghai sea team will continue to develop the unmanned submersible and lander after completing the 4000 meter scale sea test. And in cooperation with the Shanghai rainbow fish marine science & Technology Co Ltd signed with Finland LOKOMO company, the use of ultra high strength material "martensitic nickel steel" to carry out research on the key technology of the manned cabin. LOKOMO has built two 6000 meter class manned tanks for the Soviet "peace" submersible.
In addition to LOKOMO, the Shanghai sea abyss center is also working with a private enterprise, jointly developing the research and development of corrosion resistant alloy steel for manned cabin by joint CITIC Steel Group Research Institute, Shanghai Material Research Institute, Baosteel Research Institute and so on. According to reports, the steel yield strength is higher than that of martensite steels can withstand the enormous pressure of the ocean depth of 11000 M.
Though it is just a sea trial, the result is optimistic that China's ocean industry will no longer be a problem. It shows the progress of the times. It will break through itself and create a brilliant sea.
