In 2, Vogele screed, hammer stroke can be set to 2mm, 4mm or 7mm. The longer the hammering stroke is, the more ideal the pre compaction effect and compaction depth are. Therefore, the setting of tamping stroke should be matched with the paving thickness so as to obtain the best paving elevation.
