Reason

When paving material containing different size ingredients and grade of material, it is prone to segregation. Large particle size aggregate in the transport process is easy to remote on the formation of segregation in paving material.

Remedy method

Avoid segregation occurred in the hopper, the hopper wall is folded up, the material should be able to cover the scraper conveyor.

In addition, you should also try to reduce the wall of the hopper, reduce the possibility of segregation. It is only allowed that the temperature of the paving material at the hopper wall decreases too fast, and the hopper wall will be closed when the paving material is not suitable for paving.

If segregation occurs in the screed, can be highly improved by adjusting spiral feeder. If there is no effect, you can replace the smaller or different types of screw feeder blade to adapt to the screw feeder shaft.

Replacement of smaller or different types of screw feeder blades can speed up the speed of the screw divider or make the material more continuous, so that the silo in the silo to avoid segregation.

Whether the auger blade size, shall be installed with baffle plate.

Note:

Auger blades should be higher than the floor screed back about 4cm.

If segregation occurs in the spiral feeder of gear box below, screed should move backwards, thereby increasing the material measured, to ensure that all the aggregate was actually delivered to the distributor under the spiral gear box.
