The maintenance of the excavator is very important in winter, and the necessary maintenance must be done before the machine enters the winter. Therefore, all the preparations should be made before the winter maintenance:

A selection of cooling liquid pure (according to the construction machine local temperature to select the appropriate label, must check the coolant performance before winter temperatures caused by freezing the coolant to avoid damage to engine parts)

There are two main indexes to measure the cooling liquid. The first is freezing point, and the common type antifreeze can reach 40 DEG C, while the high quality coolant can reach about 60 DEG C; two is the boiling point, and the coolant should be at least 108 DEG C. Corrosion prevention and corrosion resistance is also very important, which is directly related to the service life of equipment cooling system. Note: different types of coolant must not be mixed, so as to avoid chemical reaction, precipitation or bubble.

The protective properties of JCB high performance coolant are as follows:

Concentration 50% (standard) provides protection as low as -40 degrees.

Concentration of 60% (only in extreme conditions) provides protection as low as -56 degrees.

Important: do not exceed 60% of the concentration. The icing protection performance will be reduced when the concentration exceeds this level.

Two. Choose the right lubricant

According to the local temperature, combined with lubricating oil pour point, pour point and viscosity of choosing suitable lubricating oil.

The lubricating oil can not be used at low temperature, high pour point. On the contrary in the area of high temperature is not necessary to use the lubricating oil of low pour point. Gel point and pour point are low temperature oil liquidity index, the two principles of sex determination, only slightly different. The same oil gel point and pour point are not the same, generally are higher than the freezing point of 2--3 pour point C.
