Zhenhua heavy industry provides automatic terminal equipment for Italy  

The day before, Zhenhua heavy Italy VADO container wharf investment success with the signing party will provide 4 quayside automation terminals required for the latter (STS) and 14 sets of automatic track crane (ARMG). This event marks a new breakthrough overseas in the core equipment of the automation terminal project of Zhenhua heavy industry.

In recent three years, Zhenhua heavy industry has made some achievements in the automated terminal market. It has won large orders of three ports in Xiamen port, Qingdao port and Shanghai Yangshan port. At present, it is trying to expand the market space of the overseas automation terminal.

In the past more than 10 years, APMT has maintained long-term cooperation with Zhenhua heavy industries. From the strategic level, the two sides have signed the procurement cooperation framework agreement to save time and cost and enhance trust. According to statistics, under the terms of the framework agreement, Zhenhua heavy industry has signed a supply contract with APMT so far. There are about 200 quayside bridges and 400 field bridges. The total value of the contract is about 2 billion 500 million dollars.

It is understood that Zhenhua heavy industry has set up a professional team of automation team for the VADO container terminal project to ensure the smooth implementation of the project. In the future, the two sides will also carry out follow-up cooperation, in particular, to lay a solid foundation for comprehensive cooperation and development in the field of automation terminals. It is reported that the total of 18 STS and ARMG cranes supplied by Zhenhua heavy industry for VADO container terminals is expected to be delivered to each other in March 2017 and April, respectively.
