BYD new energy commercial vehicle base in Qingdao

In June 16th, the Qingdao BYD new energy commercial vehicle base was put into production and held in Chengyang District of Qingdao. The first batch of BYD K9 electric buses were officially delivered to Qingdao transport group. The completion and commissioning of the first phase of BYD base in Qingdao marked a solid step forward in the development of new energy vehicle industry in Qingdao, and will promote the promotion of new energy vehicles in Shandong into the fast lane.

5000 pure electric buses

As an important coastal city, Qingdao has developed industries, rich research resources, high level of economic development, good traditional automobile production base and great potential to develop new energy vehicles. Qingdao BYD new energy vehicle base is located in Chengyang District, Qingdao, and it was formally started in May 2015. According to the introduction, the Qingdao BYD new energy auto base project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan, with a total area of 1000 mu. Among them, the main construction of the first phase of the project includes the production base of pure electric buses, such as parts, welding, chassis and assembly technology, so as to form the annual production capacity of 1000 pure electric buses. The two or three phase of the project is completed, Qingdao BYD new energy automobile base will achieve an annual output of 5000 units of pure electric bus, Shandong has become the largest new energy bus project and the province's pure electric vehicle production, export, logistics and research base, to build a world-class new energy automobile production base.
