Beijing handles "environmental protection identity card" for 100 thousand engineering machinery

From July 13, 2016 onwards, the city of Beijing carrying 100 thousand excavators, machine, forklift trucks in non road mobile machinery, will be unified and registered, posted different emission standards of environmental protection logo, in order to improve the air environment quality in Beijing, Beijing, "the sky bluer, the water is more green" goal.

It is understood that the city of Beijing in the non road mobile machinery registration product categories include: excavators, loaders, backhoe loaders, forklifts, bulldozers, graders, road rollers, pavers, milling machine, rotary drilling rig, piling machine a total of 11 categories of products. The staff for the registration of the product information and related information, the host engine total 22 items, with the association to develop a unified non road mobile machinery logo, for example, "the first phase of emission" logo is yellow; "second stage discharge" logo for the orange color; "third stage emission" logo is green "the fourth stage; emission, DPF transformation, electric and gas" logo is blue. According to Qi Jun, President of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the Beijing Municipal Association for the construction of non road mobile construction machinery registration work is a public welfare activity. More than 100 staff members, 16 districts will take door-to-door services without any cost. Through the identification of 11 kinds of engineering machinery products, a total of 22 information, registration and posting of different emission standards, we should strengthen the management of construction machinery industry to help improve the environmental quality of Beijing.

According to expert estimates, the market of non road mobile construction machinery such as excavator, loader and internal combustion forklift truck in Beijing is about 100 thousand units, and its single pollutant emission is several times higher than that of light vehicle. Through carrying out this public welfare activity, the Association finds out the emission level of the non road mobile construction machinery in Beijing, completes the basic and technical data statistics, and strengthens the management and self-discipline construction of the construction machinery industry.
