BMW Notebook: exclusive Manitowoc crawler crane VPC

VPC technology is applied to the two newest models of manufacturing companies -- MLC300 and MLC650, and the flagship product of 2300 tons, Manitowoc31000, which is the largest crane in the company. The unique feature of VPC technology is that it can automatically locate the weight to meet the lifting requirements. By moving along the revolving base of the crane, VPC can change its position with the angle of the main arm of the crane. The use of VPC technology is an ideal choice for energy related projects, including refineries, oil facilities and power plants, and even infrastructure operations.

In addition to the standard VPC, MLC300 and MLC650 are equipped with a VPC-MAX superposition to improve the lifting capacity and the combination of the main arm and the arm. Because the VPC-MAX configuration does not touch the ground, it also brings another advantage to the offshore operation, which makes this crane an ideal choice for barge operation. In addition, when configured by VPC-MAX, MLC650 can be applied to some of the most challenging installation works in wind farms, including the placement of turbines at a height of over 120 meters.

The transportation of MLC300 and MLC650 has been optimized, the transportation is fast and convenient, and even to the overseas. They all have a removable movable mast transport assembly, and the main boom insert section is designed to install the swing arm into the housing, and then transport it together to make transportation more efficient.

Another advantage for users is that both MLC650 and MLC300 take the lead in Mani Tova J's ergonomic design of the crane control system (CCS). This control system is well known for its reliability and ease of maintenance and is being introduced into the Grove, Potain, National Crane, and Manitowoc products.
