Dalian City Commission by letter of the relevant person in charge of the development of nuclear power equipment industry cluster in the city of Dalian that the development of nuclear power equipment started earlier, the former state-owned 523 factory (the old military enterprises, after the reorganization of Dalian Baoyuan nuclear equipment Co. Ltd.) is Dalian's first engaged in nuclear power equipment production enterprises, in 1996 to a China through the investment introduction and formed industrial clusters; in 2003, the strategy of revitalizing northeast old industrial bases in the implementation, the state introduced the revitalization of the equipment manufacturing industry related policies, and promote the adjustment of energy structure.
Dalian grabbed the opportunity to adjust the industrial structure and cultivate the nuclear power equipment industry to be bigger and stronger. The municipal Party committee and the municipal government are developing the nuclear power equipment industry in a multi pronged way, guiding the competent chemical enterprises to enter the field of nuclear power equipment manufacturing, introducing key projects, increasing investment, improving layout, and constantly expanding the scale of the industry.
Besides the special policies of the state and Liaoning, the city also supports the R & D, industrialization and expansion of the enterprises through the special funds for industrial development, so as to optimize the development environment of the nuclear equipment manufacturing industry cluster. The leaders of the city take their own teams to win the R & D task and expand the market continuously, so that all the nuclear power plants that are running and being built in the country and even Pakistan and other countries have distinct "Dalian imprints".
Among them, nuclear reactor pressure vessels, nuclear grade valves, nuclear fuel storage grid and other key components, the domestic market share of more than 70%. A 6~7 unit has been granted the qualification certificate of design and manufacture of civil nuclear safety equipment issued by the National Nuclear Safety Bureau. Some enterprises already own a batch of nuclear power technology and manufacturing technology with independent intellectual property rights, and have grasped the international standards in the field of nuclear power manufacturing.
Over the years, Dalian relying on Chinese a Dalian base, Dalian heavy industry, nuclear power, the original Shenlan pump and other key enterprises to establish nuclear island equipment, conventional island equipment and related equipment as the main body of the nuclear power equipment manufacturing industry cluster, has become one of the important nuclear island equipment manufacturing base.
