To jointly promote the "Belt and Road Initiative, Cyprus friendship hand       

In June 18th, China President Xi Jinping held talks in Belgrade with President Nikolic of Serbia. The heads of state of the two countries decided unanimously to upgrade China - China relations into a comprehensive strategic partnership and push forward a new level of relations between the two countries.

Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Serbia are all - weather friends and important partners. The development of bilateral ties in the strong power, great potential and broad prospects, due to the lasting friendship between the two peoples and profound friendship, from between the two countries on major issues of mutual understanding and mutual support, from between the two countries in the development of mutual learning and mutual assistance. At present, the traditional friendly relations between the two countries are facing new opportunities for development. We are willing to work together with the Cypriot side to continue to strengthen mutual political trust, deepen mutual benefit and cooperation, enhance mutual understanding and broaden the platform for cooperation between the two sides.

Nikolic said that the two sides maintain a high degree of mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation in a wide range of fields, and have similar positions on major international issues. Serbia is pleased with the achievements of China's economic and social development and the improvement of the people's living standards and the increasing impact of just China on international affairs. It is believed that President Xi Jinping's visit will promote the overall development of the relationship between the two sides and deepen the all-round cooperation between the two sides.

The two sides agreed to focus on key areas of cooperation, expand major cooperation projects, take infrastructure construction cooperation as a priority direction for pragmatic cooperation between the two countries, and take productive cooperation as a key area of pragmatic cooperation between two countries, and regard agricultural cooperation as a new highlight of pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. We will promote the development of practical cooperation to a higher level, deeper level and wider field, and achieve a double harvest of cooperation quality and efficiency.
