In the evening of September 22, 2014, Xugong announced that it would invest two hundred million yuan to set up Xuzhou Xugong transmission Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as XCMG transmission). The company said that the establishment of XCMG drive is to establish a unified transmission components development platform, focusing on the transmission industry development, boost enterprise transformation and upgrading of important initiatives.

The new drive will be engaged in various types of Xugong gearbox, torque converter, transfer gear, drive axle, gear reducer, transmission shaft and other transmission parts of the R & D, manufacturing, sales, spare parts and service business.

Bulletin shows that the transmission components are the core components of construction machinery products, related business has already existed, the investment belongs to the company's internal business division, in the early stage of the company oriented internal matching, while actively expanding the external market. At present, the main products of the company, in addition to loaders, other parts of the product transmission components mainly based on external, with a larger market space.
