Xinjiang will usher in 80 thousand of the car production per year    

80 thousand heavy, medium, light trucks and special cars will be produced locally in Xinjiang every year.

May 25th, learned from the Urumqi Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the autonomous region development and Reform Commission recently forwarded the State Development and Reform Commission "automobile production enterprise investment project notice", Urumqi economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutun River District) China CNHTC Xinjiang Commercial Vehicle Co. Ltd. Xinjiang commercial vehicle project won the national development and reform commission.

The total investment of Xinjiang commercial vehicle project is 1 billion 200 million yuan. After the completion of the project, the annual production capacity of 80 thousand heavy, medium and light trucks and special cars can be formed, and the annual output value will reach 15 billion yuan.

Urumqi is located in the Asian and European abdomen, which is the land road connecting China with Central Asia and Europe. China heavy duty truck will set up a production base in Urumqi. It will make full use of Xinjiang's regional advantages to move the market of China heavy duty truck to the Central Asian five countries and the Russian market, so as to achieve the regional strategic radiation. The local production of products will greatly reduce the logistics cost of vehicles, expand and promote the overall development of China's domestic and international markets.

In 2012, China heavy steam group Xinjiang Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. held a foundation laying ceremony in the Urumqi economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutun River District).
