Failure removal of excavator

A modern 220LC-5 hydraulic excavator in Changzhou, during the use of all the sudden emergence of all operations without response, but the engine runs normally failure.

According to this fault, we will open the side cover of the hydraulic lock operating handle, which is a touch type two position switch. After testing, this switch works normally. Then the excavator hydraulic pump side cover open, plug and unplug the pilot valve coil to start the engine, hydraulic lock release handle, the measured pilot valve plug terminal voltage is 27V, is a normal, resistance and the measured pilot valve solenoid for 8M (normal value 27), indicating that the electromagnetic coil has been damaged.

Because the local can not buy the same type of coil, and the price is relatively high, so decided to re winding (see figure). After car paint with a diameter of 0.21mm high strength wire in coil skeleton neatly winding 2000 turns (measured the coil resistance is 28 ohms), then plug the original coil connected with the coil around the new joint, and with a cloth strap, the coil varnished insulation drying after loading back to the original excavator. The test has shown that the machine has been restored to normal.
