In November 28, 2014, the company signed with China Nuclear Power Engineering Co ouweimu independent of the third generation "Research on the key technology of safety shell of nuclear power in Beijing: the contract of reinforced joint product development project". So far, OVM will impact joint development to meet the third generation nuclear containment shell requirements. The shell of the third generation nuclear power containment shell is reinforced concrete structure, and the weak point of the structure is the steel joint of the long reinforcing steel bar.
In the development and testing process, OVM company successfully developed a test device close to experimental requirements, after numerous tests, the company finally developed with German steel joint test requirements.
Today, Liugong ouweimu reinforced joint R & D is the first through the experiment of reinforced joint, this marks the OVM nuclear research project has achieved a major breakthrough.
