Recently, with the Great Mosque of Mecca crane collapsed causing heavy casualties accidents, once again remind people of crane safety operation can not relax, crane operators work in the construction of the front to be alert when the vehicle is in operation, the details from the start, to avoid the occurrence of crane accident.

In order to prevent crane injury accidents, we must do the following:

(1) lifting personnel must be trained by qualified training units and qualified for examination, so they can hold certificates.

(2) lifting machinery must be equipped with safety devices, such as lifting weight limiter, stroke limiter, hoisting limiter, electrical protective grounding device, end stopper, buffer, interlock, rail tongs, signal device etc..

(3) strict inspection and repair of crane parts, such as wire rope, chain, hook, rings and rollers, scrap should be replaced immediately.

(4) establish and improve the maintenance, regular inspection, shift system and safe operation procedures.

(5) when the crane is running, nobody is allowed to go up and down, nor can it be checked and repaired during operation. A special ladder must be taken for the crane.

(6) crane cantilever can go the area not stand, a person shall work within the scope of electromagnetic crane.

(7) lifting items, not from people after hanging over the area; the station were closed on; not processing on hanging items.

(8) the lifting items can not stay in the air for a long time. Special measures should be taken to protect the air.

(9) the crane driver succession, with brake, hook, wire rope and safety device for inspection, found abnormal, should be in operation before troubleshooting.

(10) before driving or alarm bell must first. During operation, close tone or alarm should be given when approaching people.

(11) operation according to command signal. The emergency stop signal should be executed immediately no matter what happens.

(12) when the crane is unattended, the main power supply can be closed.

(13) sudden interruption of work, should handle all controller draw zero; re work before, should check whether the normal work of crane.

(14) the open orbit operation of the crane, at the end of the work, should be anchored crane; when the wind is greater than 6, the general should stop working, and the crane anchor; for in the coastal work of the crane, when the wind is greater than 7, should stop working, and the crane anchor good.

(15) when the driver maintenance, should cut off the main power supply, and hang signs or locks. If the failure is not eliminated, the driver shall be notified to the successor.
