Recently, the construction of the China Railway Construction Bureau Group fourteen Nanjing Yangtze River tunnel project was awarded the 38 Zhan Tianyou prize Chinese civil engineering. The awarding project covers a number of civil engineering fields including architecture, bridges, railways, tunnels, highways, ports, waterways, water conservancy, municipal and residential areas. The awards include 244 awarding units.

Such as Shanghai Qingcaosha raw water project, the river is a tidal estuary at home and abroad the largest freshwater storage reservoir to avoid salty. The Yangtze River Tunnel Project in Nanjing has solved the construction technology problems of super large diameter tunnel with high water pressure, shallow overburden and complex strata, and constructed a structural safety system for large diameter shield tunnel design, construction and operation process.
